Run & Walk for Children
Family Enrichment Center is committed to the effort of encouraging overall family health as well as ending child abuse. Each Spring Family Enrichment Center hosts the Total Fitness Connection Run & Walk for Children. This event features a Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) road race, 5K run/walk, pump and run, and one mile childrens race. Participants receive T-shirts, a breakfast reception, on-site sports massage, and free child care during the event. The Run & Walk for Children offers families an opportunity to raise money and awareness for the prevention of child abuse. This event raises over $40,000 for Family Enrichment Center and it is our primary fundraiser. Proceeds benefit the programs of the Family Enrichment Center.
