How You Can Help...

Help OutChild abuse continues to be an issue and demand for Family Enrichment’s services continues to grow. We have been forced to put families in need of services on waiting lists until we can find additional funding. Parents as Teachers, Wee Care Nursery and our Parenting Classes consistently have waiting lists. Additional resources are needed to meet the needs of high risk families in the Barren River Region. Family Enrichment Center keeps overhead cost low with the help of many local companies who donate goods and services. We operate with less than 10% indirect expenses.

Your donation helps Family Enrichment Center in its mission to empower families and prevent child abuse by providing education, social support, crisis intervention, and a safe environment for children and families.

It is impossible to do the work we do without help of all kinds.  It may be time you volunteer, items you donate or monetary support. Our agency is appreciative of your consideration and has several ways you can help.  Did you know that when you reach 70 1/2, you may roll over up to $100,000 annually from your IRA to our organization?  Did you know that you can bequest part of your estate, whether real or personal property, to our agency? Have you ever considered a Charitable Trust as a way to sell property and be able to bypass gains, increase income and make a charitable donation in the process? Did you know that changing your retirement beneficiary is an easy way to give? These are just a sample of the many ways you can make a long-term gift to Family Enrichment Center. Please contact us for more information.

provides a secure website to take online donations for Family Enrichment Center. We are also always in need of diapers, baby food, snack foods for children, new and gently used games and puzzles, clothing for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, car seats, parenting books (Such as "What to Expect When You are Expecting" by Murkoff, Eisenberg & Hathaway), children’s books and videos, and general office supplies.

Thank you for your consideration. If we can provide you with additional information, please call us at (270) 781-6714.
